The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is required to adjust the fees charged under Sections 6(b), 13(e), 14(g), and Rule 24f-2 of the Securities Act of 1933, as well as the Investment Company Act of 1940 annually. In order to ensure these fees are paid at levels that generate the statutory target amount, a methodology in consultation with the Congressional Budget Office and the Office of Management and Budget was developed. For Fiscal Year 2024, the statutory target collection amount is projected to be $839,771,535 after adjusting the FY 2023 number for inflation. The SEC will issue further notices containing information on fee developments as appropriate.
