GamProtect: BGC's Single Customer View Solution to Reduce Gambling Related Harm

The Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) recently entered the Gambling Commission's Sandbox in order to explore the development and trial of a Single Customer View (SCV) solution. This solution was developed by the BGC and participating operators Entain, William Hill, 888, Gamesys, Bet365, and Flutter, as a means of unifying and proactively intervening to reduce incidents of gambling related harm. After completing the pilot program, it will now be implemented as GamProtect across the gambling industry with assistance from the BGC. This SCV will be a new tool to help improve customer safety within the gambling industry by allowing operators to access customer account information in order to better identify and understand potential risk factors associated with gambling related problems.
