Reopened Comment Period for Commission Proposals Related to Cybersecurity Risk Management and Disclosure

By

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission has proposed to reopen the comment period for the adoption of a rule that would require issuers to disclose cybersecurity risks and incidents, and to consider any additional impacts due to other regulatory changes. This includes new proposals on cybersecurity risk management and disclosure. Interested parties will have 60 days after the publication date of the reopening release in the Federal Register to prepare and submit their comments. Through this extension, stakeholders who may have not had an opportunity previously will be able to share their views on the proposed rule.
