SEC Office of Minority and Women Inclusion Releases FY 2022 Annual Report to Congress

The Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI) released its Fiscal Year 2022 Annual Report to Congress. The report highlights the SEC’s efforts towards promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Key achievements discussed in the report include an increase in the representation of minorities among Senior Officers by 37.6%, an increase in contract payments to minority- and women-owned businesses by 37.6%, and an increase in the number of paid internship programs from FY 2021 to FY 2022. Additionally, over 35.9% of the SEC's workforce identify as minorities. OMWI provided critical leadership and support in order to facilitate and promote the SEC’s collective DEIA efforts.
