Strengthening FOI Compliance for Public Authorities Through New Resources

This blog post by Deborah Clark, ICO Upstream Regulation Manager, introduces a new team dedicated to supporting public authorities in complying with the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations. The Upstream Regulation team will provide resources to help public bodies respond to information access requests on time, as well as promote good practice in order to build trust and confidence in those responsible for making public information available. They are currently finalizing their goals and programme of work to ensure they can provide the best support possible.
