Strengthening the Partnership Between ICO and Ofcom for Online Safety and Data Protection

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and Ofcom have strengthened their partnership to help ensure online safety and data protection. The two organizations will work together to ensure maximum alignment and consistency between the two regimes, with a focus on ensuring that data is protected, people’s personal information is secure, and online services are safe for all users. The ICO and Ofcom plan to accomplish this by sharing expertise and resources, coordinating enforcement activities, and collaborating on policy development and research.
