The Financial Conduct Authority has put in place additional temporary measures for the reporting of certain fields in UK MiFIR transaction reports. Until the future of these fields is determined, the FCA will not take action against firms which do not meet requirements for their reporting. Furthermore, the validation rules CON-610 and CON-640 will be disabled from September 2023 to ensure that any inaccuracies in the reporting of these fields does not lead to rejection. The FCA plans to communicate information about a new schema for transaction reporting to MDP entities prior to implementing these new rules.
