"FINRA Appoints Bill St. Louis as Head of Enforcement"
FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, has appointed Bill St. Louis as their new Head of Enforcement. The appointment was announced by FINRA CEO Robert Cook. St. Louis has a broad and deep knowledge of the FINRA, having held numerous positions in their Enforcement department since 1998, most recently overseeing the National Cause Program, Financial Crimes Surveillance, and several specialized investigation units. Prior to this role, St. Louis was the Director of FINRA’s New York Office from 2014-2019 and Senior Vice President and Regional Director of the Northeast Region from 2019-2020. Chris Kelly will be stepping down after leading FINRA Enforcement. FINRA exists to protect investors and ensure market integrity. With their mission in view, St. Louis will be expected to strengthen FINRA's Regulatory Operations and increase safety in the market.
